I wanted something different for my Z and was thinking about painting my Rays 18" black. I didnt know if powder coat or urethane or whatever works. I wanted to know if painting rims was a good idea and the cons about it. Thanks!

 

powder coating would be fine.. make sure you take it to a good shop, so that all the prepping is done correctly.. Go with a color other than black, be different.. everyone does black now adays, now its played out. Go with a gun metal or graphite color..

 

Something different and black. Black is fairly common.

powder coat is cool. at my shop we re paint wheels for body shops and i've done a few custom 1 off for v&t and did some rh's. clear coat looks good too. your call.
