Default 19in Volk GT7 and Tein S Techs

Just installed my 19in Volk GT7 and Tein S Techs. The wheels are 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 with 23 and 24 offsets. The car should be a little lower when the springs settle, I just installed them yesterday. What do you think?

Nice little drop on the S-techs. Wheels are nice as well, but I would have went wider.

thanks for the comments. the ride is smooth, but i dont have a real good answer yet as its only been one day. i want to let it settle, get an allignment, then i will know for sure how it handles. as for wider wheels, i wish they were too, but i got them used for a great price, so i couldnt say no.

I would do the Alignment , the springs could take longer to settle then you think.

rico, be very carefull when you clean those GT7's, make sure you rinse them off with high pressure water to get as much dust/dirt off as possible. then only use microfiber towels with water and soap to gently clean them. the clearcoat is sooooo easy to scratch on those. running your finger against the inner lip where the brake dust settles alone can scratch them!

nothing but soap and water, wheel cleaners will destroy the clearcoat. maybe try some zaino Z5 to polish some of the lighter surface scratches out.

Wheel wax works well for my GT-AVs, kind of expensive, but then again so were the rims! I think the site is wheelwax.com!

Why would you have went wider? More weight? Wider tires? Or you just want a bigger lip and a more stretched tire? Anyways I think they look great. I think it is time I dropped mine.

Nice drop on the springs. How far is the drop in front and rear? I'm thinking about dropping mine and would like your opinions on the Teins or any other brands some of you other guys may suggest.

Thanks guys. It dropped a little over a half inch all the way around. i think it will settle to about .75in drop, maybe a little less. The ride is very smooth. Unfortunately, none of the local tire shops could do my allignment as they were worried about damaging the lips, so i have to go to a performance shop that doesnt have things that clip on the rims, to get my allignment. I also couldnt get my rims and tires balanced as the place did not know how to remove my center caps. do they screw off or do they pop off? As for now, it looks good and rides nice and smooth, but i wont know for sure until i get an allignment and a balancing.
