Question 285/30/19 and 355/25/19 What Width rims?

Hello all. I am currently researching what size tires and wheel to put on my Z once the widebody kit goes on in the summer. These are the tires size I am going to go with and just wondering how to determine how wide i want to order the wheels. I dont like the streched look on tires and like them to fit flush like factory wheels and tires. Like on the vettes. Etc. I know in the front i can go from 10-11 in wheel and in the rear 12.5 - 13.5 in wheel. Now the question is which sizes fit flush? 10.5 in the front and 13 in the back? Let me know.

Also how do I determine offsets to make these wheels sit flush with the body kit. where do i need to take measurements from, etc. Thanks

-George

What widebody and that's the same question I'm having. I'm probably getting Iforged wheels but they cost like $1500 a wheel for the rears. By the way most kits probably can't fit those wheels and you can't get mine...haha j/p

haha she's good man, just being a little rascal getting into/destroying stuff (she's teething). $150 for a bottle of wine isn't too bad but in hindsight I see I could've gotten some toher stuff for the car but more money will come shortly. I'm going to try to talk to IForged and a few other companies to see about sponsorship then contact Pirelli and go from there. If I can even get a slight discount on the wheels/tires then Greddy here I come. How are the wheels working out for you?

That sucks dude. You should drive down to Gaithursburg for the AAM BBQ on March 4th. Sucks for me too. I gotta get the car out of the bodyshop take it to AAM have them do all the power stuff then when Mastergrade sends the front lip I gotta take it back to Vertex and have them put that on then get it painted. I might have to go with the Advan Version2s which are not cheap and would be good for show if I can't get the Iforged or another 13 or 14" wide wheel in time. BTW all that ahs to be done by March 18th. haha looks like I'll be on the phone and runnin around a lot for the next couple weeks ubt it will be worth it because my car will kick some *ss this year (I'm hoping).

haha would but it would look funny on my car. Big ol fenders tiny little wing...haha...get a Civic SI like I am for a daily driver. I test drove it yesterday and it wasn't too bad and gets the top Highway MPG of a Z in the city. Just for laughs(which people will at me) I have to transport the car all these places on 17" stock Z rims until I get the wheels and tire deal sorted out. Check out the IForged Emotion wheels and let me know what you think.

George, not sure where to take measurements from but I've got 305's in the rear on a 10.5" rim with 26mm offset and it is flush with the fender. The 305 looks very "factory" on a 10.5" rim so I would say you may want to go 12.5" which is the lower end of the range for that tire size. As for the offset, it depends on how much the wb extends the fender. If it extends 20mm then I would say a very low offset like 6-10mm (26mm offset less wb extension).

Good luck!
Ron

im in the same boat, idk why certain 3 pc wheel companies wont let you order the size you want, saying "well those sizes are too big for the 350z" even tho I kept telling them I have a widebody, but finally just ordered direct from the company and no retailer, I have a ts widebody and ordered 10 front and 12 rear and have 275 for the front, my question is that good enough for the front?? and the rear should I go with 325?? thanks

would 275 front cause understeer? How good of a deal can you get on those and +1 on the Henny. Turbo 350 what wheel company/wheels did you go with?

I went with the makaveli globe, I heard that if you have 305 or wider in the back the 275 front wont cause understeer, here is a pic of the wheels, Im going with 5' lip front and 6' lip rear

Wow the more I look the more I start to have a hard time choosing. Turbo350those are very nice flashy but also very classy...nice pick. My main thing is doing something different and having some stuff no one else has on my car. The kit, painted cf hood (except for the gills) GT cf mirrors, cf B-pillar and APR wing(possibly) which is why I was attracted to the Advan Version 2s but now I'm realizing that I should just go all out while I'm at it and fit the fattest tire I can out back and that would probably be the 355 by Pirelli. Turbo350 do you have a website for them? I like your wheels but I'm not going to jack your style. haha again nice *ss wheels
