Default Widest tires to fit on G35 Coupe wheels

Hey guys, I got g35 Coupe wheels on my Z and I'm trying to figure out the widest tire possible for them. I have 255's in the rear right now and 225's in the front. Is it posssible to slap on a 275/35/19 in the rear of the G35C wheels?

I'm guessing 275s might be a tad wide for an 8.5" rim.

Every 275 width tire I looked up on various sites (tirerack/dtd) recommended a minimum width of 9" for a 275. Even some 265s recommended a minimum of 9". I'm guessing a 265 still might fit though...

I actually had the same Q though since I just installed my G rims, so I'm anxious to see if anyone can confirm widths from experience. If not, I'm just going with 235/255 or something when it comes time for new tires. I like the 40 sidewall that is stock on the 245/40/19, but the price on these babies (not that any 19" tire is cheap) is ridiculous from what I've seen. Much better going with a 35 sidewall.

I'm sure the 275s look 'bubbled out' on a 8 or 8.5" rim?

I run 225/255 on my stock 17 rims. For the Track Rays, Im looking for either a 265 all around setup or a 265/275for Solo 1 racing.
