Default Stock Tires with TPS on a non TPS car.

Guys,

I am about to get a set of stock tires/rims with TPS off of a ’05 350z. I have a base an ‘04 350z which I don’t have the TPS on the car. Since I don’t care for TPS, would it affect the way the wheel is installed or drive? Any foreseeable problem?

Thanks in advance,
Tony

It wont have any affect at all.

You could even take out the tps sensors and put in regular valve stems then put the sensors on ebay or something. Just a thought.

The added unsprung weight would certainly raise your 1/4.

Nzz,

Funny man. Visually, is there any difference? I might sell the car later on and don't want to worry any potential buyers. I wil not remove the TPS to avoid the hassle if I can.

the valve stem on tps rims usually have metal caps (opposed to the regualr black plastic) - I think the tps sensors go for around $100 as a set.

As long as they don't roll around inside your new tires you are good to go.
