Default Goodyear Eagle F1 tires help

Hey Guys,

I am looking to chang my OEM bridgestone with Goodyear Eagles F1, but they dont come in the stock size 225/45/R18 and 245/45/R18. Which size tires can i use with my stock Z rims. And would i have to change anything else.

I have read that choosing the wrong tires can increase the understeer.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Also read up on their tendency to have slower turn-in feel due to the softer sidewalls. I have them in 19's and the turn in is not as great as the stock potenzas although after you're in the turn, they STICK! Break away characteristic is also awesome, very gradual. I know that doesn't answer your question, but just FYI for you if you didn't know. BTW, I like them a lot after only 800 miles. Might try BF Goodrich KDW-2s next.

Get 245/40/18s for the front, and you're better than stock with almost the same diameter. It might even get rid of a bit of the push our cars have.

I'm considering either these or BFG KDW2s myself. Either option I'm going 245/40/18 and 245/45/18s.

Those rears are kind of wide for the 8" stock rims on the rear (assuming non-Track 18"s). I'd personally do something like that for autoX, but not for daily driving.
