Has anyone done this? Anyone know if the heat will stress the aluminum too much? I had this done to some acura wheels that i put on my civic, but they weren't forged aluminum, and they were cheap compared to these....

comments? suggestions?

 

I just did mine about 3 weeks ago. Everything seems fine. I think the heat is just hot enough to melt the powder but not hot enough to hurt the rim.

 

Ive had mine sandblasted then powdercoated for about 6 months now, no complaints at all, im gonna be posting pics up of it the classifieds section soon cause im thinking about selling them...

Search the user GATORZ he had this done on his Track wheels. I asked him about it because I plan on possibly doing the same thing. It should be no problem, however.
