Default New Rim suspension question.

Im getting my new rims on next week. They are 19" Now im a little worried what they will do to the car as far as height and wheel well gap.

I was looking at maybe getting the TEIN S.Tech Springs. But im not sure if I will need to lower it. Also how will these springs change my ride? Pros/Cons? Will these spring put stress on the rest of my suspension?

Any before and after pic's with aftermarket 19's?

TIA!

Your talking about G35 S-tech springs, correct?

The only vise that I'll toss out about them is that they use a softer then oem rear spring rate, but at least they do go stiffer in the front. Really since you don't have the 05-06 sport suspension, or have design's on installing Tokico D-spec shocks, you'd be fine on them. I would however, recommend Hotchkis springs instead, drop is simular as are the front spring rates, but the rear spring rates are more sensicle in comparison.

Tein S-tech G35 coupe 1.2/.9 drop (fronts are progressive, rears are linear)
Spring rates in LBS 358/274 (final rates only, softer intial front progressive rate unknown)
Stiffer or softer then oem springs by R+14% R-18%

Hotchkis 350Z springs drop on G coupe 1.1/1.3
Spring rates in lbs 340/330
Stiffer or softer then oem springs by F+8% R-3%

You can easily reduce the rear drop of the Hotchkis springs with the simple installation of a $15 pair of coil spring spacers from energy suspension 3/8" thick. Simply slip them above the rear oem upper spring seats.

Also take into consideration that any drop greater that 1-1.5" will require the use of toe bolts and radius arms for the rear and adjustable a-arms for the front in order to maintain factory specs. This will cost approx $600 in parts + labor.

You just spoke a whole different language to me LoL... I didnt want something I would spend lots of money on. I also didnt want a huge drop. I was just curious that with the additions of the 19's will it make my car look to high.. Or put to much gap in the wheelwell...

about 3 fingers from the tire to the fender. If you're ok with it then no problem.

and when you use TEIN S.Tech Springs, you have about 1 1/2 fingers from the tires to the fender. Should be fine.
