Default Azenis RT-615s for road trip?

Just purchased a set of Falken Azenis for autocross this summer. For daily drives, I'm hearing good things too. However, I'm planning on doing a trip or two down into the states to enjoy some windy roads this summer. Do the Azenis hold up well, or get too hot? Should I stick with the stock Potenzas RE040s for the road trip, despite the fact that they are awful?

Thanks.

The azenis are awesome all around, but they really shine in dry conditions. So, use em on those windy roads.

I would go with the Rt-615's. They can get greasy, but I doubt you will be able to push them to that point anywhere but a race track.
