Are these for your Z? why are you looking at all season tires. Most of the Performance tires are also good in the wet? Unless you just cruise in your Z and don't use any of its design I wouldn't understand why you want All seasons.

By the way thx for mentioning Tommy autobody. I haven't seen your car really close up to check their work but it looks nice from what i've seen in person. Also James's car came out really good so i'm looking forward to take my parts to him and have them mount and paint them. I'll post pics when I take it in.

Has anyone use this tire before?

Anything is suitable, it depends how you use your car. I use mine for maximum performance. If I had those tires it wouldn't work out cuz i need soft grippy tires. These have a treadwear of 500, that is way to hard of a tire for me to use for my potential. Now in bubbles case if he is just putting around and occasionally hitting some turns it might be the tire for him to get a long comfortable ride. But for a Z, made for high performance in corners and such, I don't think those complement his car. Thats all i was mentioning.

I agree. Performance and tread wear are a trade-off. Generally performance tires have a maximum tread life of 300. I mentioned the Z speed rating. I believe that the speed rating is the tires ability to withstand heat at high speeds.

One day there will be a tire with a 400 or 500 treadwear and excellent performance. Watch someday probably when our kids are old enough to drive and are buying performance tires (probably 15-18yrs from now) they will have like 100,000mile warranty and stick like glue. They'll laugh at how we used to lose traction or go slower than 100 around a tight curve.
