Hey guys what are your personal opinions on the stickiest street tire on the market?

 

When I had my 3rd Gen RX7, I had several sets of tires on it. The BFG G-force KD's were by far the best that I had on that car. They were STICKY in the dry and decent in the wet, def. not great.

 

Are you talking about straight line acceleration or cornering? How do we determine the best tires?

There are DOT legal competition tires that are excellent. Expect tread wear to be about 100. If you don't mind replacing tires at 10,000 miles, that might be the answer. Oh by the way be careful in the rain.

 

Out of the tires I used the stickiest "True" street tire is the Michelin PS2. As for Street legal you can get much stickier than a BFG Drag Radial.

I used to have these on my ITR at Hpde's and pass 350's all day long . And the best part was that while everyone else was swapping tires at 5am, I was sleeping.
