I bought some on eBay earlier, and now a friend is telling me that they bend easily. Is this true? Am i gonna regret buying these?

 

keep them, they're fine..... many members have them on here and they're acceptable. it's not going to be better than volks but it will do the job. nice wheels btw

 

I will tell you this, I live in NY and those wheels wouldnt last 3 months here. My brother lives in toronto and he had them on his Z and they lasted a little longer then that before they were bent, I would say it depends on how you avoid the pot holes, any rim will bend including volks if you hit em hard enough

 

They are hot.

No wheels can take abuse such as pot holes and curb banging. Put those bad boys on the car, post some photos and enjoy the ride.

 

its all about the tires bud. Get a bigger profile, but maintain spec for TCS and VTC or w/e the *** its called

 

I think the mistake was not buying a forged rim, the Msports are heavy as hell.

 

Honestly say what you want, but I have these wheels and live in Canada where potholes are HUUUGE and I have yet (knock wood) to bend any! I have hit huge holes and they just absorb the hit! I have BFG tires with 35mm walls and they do just fine

and honestly, the wheels look very good on car!
The only thing is the offset! I had to get spacers after I realized that the wheels just didnt look right (spacers are not in this pic)

 

I've had my ADR's for almost 2 years w/out any problems. Enjoy them!

 

I have a set of ADRs for about 2 years and I have not had any problems with them bending.

 

Ride looks sweet, man. I'm in Canda as well wher'd you get your rims, dealing with US cunstoms sucks and those are the ones I want...

 

Bending will depend on your road conditions up there in Canada. In California I doubt they would last that long. The main thing about ADR's is that they are so heavy, it is rediculous.

But for the normal tuner who is not going to race on the track, ADR's are fine if your roads are clear of major potholes.

Just make sure you get some good tires on those badboys and you won't be disappointed

 

^^THEY are HEAVVVVY thats for sure! its like working out everytime I to take my wheels off! It's nuts, but I'm not a race/speed freak and I like just cruising so for me its good, but do not buy these if you want to keep what you have with stock!

35 is actually the percentage of the tire width, just an FYI.

what spacers did you get? How much did they cost? How did they affect the ride? Im may be getting some black ones like yours for my redline but am not sure yet. BTW are those 19s or 20s on your car. Sry for all the questions. Thanks

 

I just wanted to chime in and suggest that you use hubcentric wheel spacers. Also regardless of spacers or not you should pickup a set of hubcentric rings to make sure your wheel mounts evenly and to prevent vibrations at high speeds.

Haven't had any problems thus far other than scratches from pebbles and debris from all the construction in my area. I've had them on for about a year now. I work in downtown san francisco and we have more pot holes than anywhere on the planet! there is no way you can avoid them either unless you want to swerve and hit a pedestrian, a cab, or tourist in a rental... I went over a pot hole a couple of weeks ago and nada wheel wise. BUT I did get a nail in my front passenger tire!!! I have S-O3's 245/275/35

Yes, the M-Sports are heavy but for me, I didn't want to go shell out $$$$ for some volks and F'em up in the City.

 

Haha plus theft in the city is a whole other issue
