Hmm...with all these conflicting info flying around, I think I'm just gonna wait & see when some of you guys get yours. I wanna make sure I get a perfect fit.

 

i ordered front 9.5 +30 and 10.5 +18 for my G... Chris at F1 said the BBK will fit front but not the back... and he also said +18 has the 4.9" lip which will not clear BBK... and if you look at RAYS chart it cleary says +18 125mm

 

My question is how are you 350z guys able to put a +17 up front? Thats gonna look freakin sick with what a 4 inch lip up front and a 5 out back

Well. I just Talked to Dave at Status today to check on somethings.
1. I rechecked the offsets i was getting. I guess I AM getting +17 in the front and +18 in the rear. Making it a 5in lip in the rear. At first i thought i was getting a +17 all around. So sorry for the debate Volk350z, you were right. +18s are the ones with the 5in lip. But atleast Im getting +18s in the rear too..so no hard feelings haha.
2. After checking on my offsets. I check on the ETA. Bad news guys. Everyone that ordered the first Batch of the GTS should be getting them the same time, no matter what sponsor (i believe), and it was supposed to be coming in This week (end of april, first week of may). Apparently Volk made a mistake telling our sponsors that the ETA was this week, but in reality, they really told them the ETD (estimated Time of Delivery). Meaning for us waiting for the first batch of GTS, That Volk just/will put our wheels in container to be shipped to the USA this week. This means the the ETA (arrival to the USA) will be the end of May or first week of June. So thats the news on the GTS as for now. So anyone that ordered the second batch of GTS..I think your plans might be pushed further another month or so. You guys should check with the sponsor you ordered from tho, it might be different. Volk might have told the correct thing to your people. But as for me and eveyrone that ordered the GTS through status, thats the current news.

Does anyone have the paint code to this gold chrome color I'm starring at. I would love to get powder coated on my volks!!!

 

I found another pic. I wonder if this is the chrome silver or the mercury silver. I love the way the model is etched into the lip.

it's not a 1 inch difference

the lip size is dependant on offset and pad height. The 19x10.5 has a C pad (low pad) with a +18 offset - yields a 125mm lip, or 4.9 inches. The 19x10.5 +17 has an A pad (high pad), which yields a 107mm lip (4.21 inches). The +17 clears a BBK, the +18 won't
