Default Volk GT-S Color difference

I was wondering if you guys can help me out. I'm planning on purchasing the GT-s but I can't figure out what the color name is. Heres a picture of the color I plan on purchasing.

https://my350z.com/forum/attachment....8&d=1143694975

Ive contacted both f1 motorsports and status and they both told me it's titanium gunmetal. So fine, it's titanium gunmetal then. So i ask for another pic of the same color and status sends me this:

http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...022_resize.jpg

now unless i'm blind, they are two completely different colors but status claims that the 2nd pic is titanium gunmetal as well. The first one is way darker.. the 2nd one almost looks like a silver. Neither has yet to reply to my PM about this so I figured they're just too busy. If any of you have already purchased your set, please help me out i really want to get the darker finish.

hard to say. lighting plays a huge role in how things look.

best to go see the wheel person. you're spending $2000+ for wheels

sadly, i think you're right. I was very excited about the darker finish.. it just looks perfect. But if it looks like the 2nd pic in the daylight.. then i'm going to have to pass..

The 2nd pic you posted (from Status) looks more like the Mercury Silver rather than the Ti Gunmetal. The 1st pic looks more like what is on the NSX & supports what Volk350Z has posted as well.

That Ti Gunmetal is definitely bad ***! Hmm...I've never really looked into these wheels but it's definitely growing on me.

there is no chrome silver. There's mercury silver, and RBC. RBC = polished all around. Mercury silver = silver finish with polished lip.
