Default 18x10.5 +31 at all 4 corners????

Does anyone know if this will work? Im looking at a used set of jdm wheels and wondering if i can pull this off? would i need spacers to make it possible?

I dont think the fronts would fit right, but what the hell.. i figured i would ask. lol.

I'm not sure.

But it should fit, depending on tire sizes.

I have 17x9.0 +30 up front on mine, with 255/40R17 tires. No spacers. The wider rim should not make a difference in the final position of the tire, only the offset counts.

I plan to test my 17x10.0 +30 rears with 275/40R17 on the front eventually.

Make sure the spokes actually clear the brake calipers.

Agree 100%, no need for tires that wide up front.

Why not?

10.5 would be a bit of a stretch for a 275 tire, but still with in the suggested rim width.

Sport Compact Car's project 350Z runs 275/40R18 KDW on a +30mm offset wheel. It barely clears the suspension, but it's enough.

But again-Why do you need 275 up front? higher quality tires up front in a smaller diamter plus some wheel spacers (wider stance) should be able to handle what you can throw at the Z for the most part.

10.5" rim is fine with a 275 series. 10.5" in front is a bad idea. Your steering will be affected, and general handling you dont want.

i believe you'll encounter understeer problems with that wide of a front.

That would depend on what he's running in the rear. If he goes 275 all around, he will have less understeer and maybe some oversteer.

Why would a 10.5" not be a good idea in the front? Appart for a slight increase in inertia, the tire would be a the same place with less side wall flex.
