I have had my new wheels on for a week now. They are great and all but I just noticed a problem. The other day I went out on the highway and after I hit 70-75MPH my stearing wheel started to vibrate a lot more then normal. Under 70MPH its fine but as soon as I hit 70-75 it starts to shake a little.

Now I did not get an alignment yet can that be a cause?
Can it be that the wheels arent ballenced right?
Is there some other problem?
Is it the bigger tires?

I make sure that the wheels are on there straight and that all the lugs are super tight. Like I said normal driving around town I didnt notice a thing only at higher speeds..

Sounds like a balance issue. Also double check your air pressures.

 

Your wheels may need hubcentric rings.
