My personal opinion is that chrome wheels look tacky. I also think that mods should be functional and if not functional, they should at least not be detrimental to the way a car drives.
I think there are others that are of the same mindset as me and that this is why there is “so much hate on chrome rims”.
bad picture but here are the chromies that were on the vette I had. I don't think chrome wheels are tacky but the type of chromes are what makes them look tacky. like the HUGE blades and horrid styles are what turns people off.
Well, there are exceptions to every rule and I think the pic you posted is a great example. Those don't look out of place at all on that vette. The RacingHart CP-F Tunes seem to have a chrome look (never seen them in person) but they are bad ***. I would sport them in a second.

no, black powdercoats on awful (spelling aweful actually means full of awe; inspiring envy) rims and chrome rims both are equally lame, and are deserving of a large potful of hate and flame; cheers to the chrome anti-fans!!!
