yea he put mine on, but his clears his wilwoods wayyyyyyyy too much. You can put a whole fist between the spokes and the caliper...

He wants something that kinda "hugs" the calipers...

I have the 14" 6POT(F)/4POT(R) SL Series Calipers & yes, I believe they are bigger than the OEM Brembos. I just think they are more low profile (doesn't bludge out as much) than the Brembos or even the Stoptechs for that matter. When I put on Nitrouz's wheels, it just seemed like there was so much more space between the spokes and the calipers plus the entire wheel stuck out the fender a bit more (about 1"-2" more). Our thought is that it appears the the rotor hat that my Wilwoods use are thicker than usual or at least compared the the Stoptechs Nitrouz has. That's why I sent my brake specs over to Rick so he can find the right setup for me.

oh thats good. i was gonna help you with the offsets too. yeah, the design of the GT-S' aren't as flat. you think you can get away with mid pad up front? good luck again though. i'm sure something can be worked out. Rays makes wheels for almost every darn japanese vehicle with plans for future mods.

Can you guys explain what you're talking about when you say "cutting the fender" are you cutting the metal part of the fender that is painted to make the opening bigger, or cutting something inside the fender that isn't noticeable from the outside?

cutting something inside the fender that isn't noticeable from the outside. it's the inside of the fender. there is a 90 degree angle where he fender ends. your roll/cut that to accomodate the tire/rim.

The diamond blacks are just mean looking & makes the car look really sporty yet I love the classic look the mercury silver gives the car.
go silver, james!!!!!

I've heard of rolling the fenders, and fear doing this myself. I want to get these wheels in a +18 offset in the back, so I know I will have to roll them...where can I get this done?
Thanks

Anybody got a pic of diamond black on SS? I have a set on order, but I could get gunmetal alot faster ... I saw clearsector's which looks real clean, but I wanted to compare it to one with Diamond Black .. also if someone has SS with gunmetal and a stoptech BBK that would be great to see too.

Hey guys, will the +30/+28 clear the brembo's? Barely or by quite a bit? Also, any rubbing or fender rolling needed on a small drop? (TEIN S-TECH's). thanks

Volk GTS, 19x9.5 (+30) and 19x 10.5 (+28). Also, who has in stock at the "normal" offset, Again, I want to run 255 and 285 and NOT stick out of the fender with TEIN S-Tech's.... thanks!

Those offsets will clear BREMBOS but theyre very conservative. Why not run a +17, +18?

TOO aggressive. I want to run normal camber with my TEIN S-Tech's. I also dont want to cut my fenders. Finally, I want to go 285's. in the rear, they will stick outside of the fender with this offset.

Not if you cut or roll them.

How is that possible with a normal alignment on a conservative alignment? I bought GTM's recently (see classifieds) and at a +21 offset I was at least 5mm's PAST the fender. I have the personal experience unfortunatly.
