lol, were they in stock? or are you pulling the 60 day wait from overseas? i am going to wait for my kids to get in town (early June) before i get them repainted... the car will be parked for most of the 2 months they are here so i wont mind taking the wheels off for a bit...

and at NPR this past Sat they had a silver 06 with Merc Silver GTS's on it.. lol, so.. yeah, we have "others" around..

How dramatic does the ride change going from stock 18's to 19" Volks? Is it alot harsher?

I didn't think my ride changed much at all.. I do think the rear end has more of a tendancy to bounce around in hard cornering though... Springs should take care of that (im yet to put mine in)

Just saw a CS Z with Black GT-S' in weschester (Miami). Looked awesome. Anyone on the forum fit that description? Stock Body Kit from what I could see. Love the color. First Z I've ever seen with my wheels in Miami. .

Do these make the cut?

Bronze VOLK GTS

Notice the "BR"... Stands for Bronze, definately authentic and not painted...

Those are pretty dope. Are these the set Rick was advertising? If so, i can't believe they lasted that long.

Seems like the bronze color looks different in different angle with different lighting. Nice rims!!

Thanks guys....

Yep, those were the ones... According to Rick these were the only ones he had and I was the lucky guy who was able to snag them....

Yes, depending on the lighting, the bronze turns gold... the best thing about two-piece wheels is, if I get tired of this color I can have the spokes painted....

I really need to watch those curbs now, since the offset is wider than stock. Curbage is a part of life, but doesn't have to be apart of mine...

(crossing fingers and everything else... lol)

I looked at a few sellers here and on e-bay, even private/ used ads, I figured for the peace of mind and having a drop done at the same time, I just traveled over to Status.

Besides, 9 times out of 10 I would have had to get new tires and possibly get the wheels refinished, rebalanced and no telling what the shipping companies might do.... That would have added up to a new set or even more...

Ok a couple more shots...

A bit too dark...

Believe me, I looked for months, even before I got the Z... Tried to convince myself that I'd be satisfied with "simple" wheels, (i.e. cheap knock off, heavy e-bay, pep-boys wheels) I am so glad I stop BS'n myself... I don't regret the purchase in the least bit.

GET THEM SOON!!!!
