Good color combo but not a fan of the 275s on 10.5" on the rears.

You mean he still haven't gotten a set yet? It's been like months since he started debating. By the time you get your wheels man the GTS's will already be classics.

I know. lol! When I met Azula he was rolling on I forged. But as many times as he's posted on this thread, you'd think he owns a set! lol.
Hey Azula!
GET A SET and Stop over thinking it! You will love these wheels. Guarnteed!

There I feel much better now.

Hey Azula,

Dont worry about the peer pressure. Get it whenever you are ready. It took me three month to decide for the rims. Once I got it, I never regret a bit.

Sooner or later, you gonna get it, might as well get it NOW!!!

I am running 275, I rolled my fender a little. But I've heard you can get away w/o rolling your fender with 275

Roll your fenders and go with the 285's. They look beefy but good.

Roll your fenders to have your tires stick out 5mm more?

you could argue that. but, those 5 mm do several things.

1. put more rubber on the road.
2. they fill the rim, making them look less streched.
3. create protection to the edge of the lip.

btw, i rolled the fenders just in case. with my setup i doubt rolling is truly necessary. but i wanted the peace of mind.

i'm not sure what the OP's thoughts are, but for 5mm, i think it deff worth going with 285's.

BTW, i get only compliments about my setup. never heard a comment like. oh, your tires stick out too much. but i do hear that 275's look streched.

OMG someone go to japan and tell rays to make my wheels get here faster i cant wait anymore!!!!!!

atleast this gives me more time to research the whole 275 or 285 debate. cant wait to take off the mud guards too.

anyone had problems with the rays lugs....loosening and almost falling off? which lugs do u guys recommend?

soon to be owner of the +17/18 wheel club!

my opinion. get the 285's and tighten the lugs to 110lbs of torque. That's what I did. I've never had a problem.

I have Rays lugs on my GT-S now and dont have any problem. But I've heard you cant use the power tool to put on the lugs otherwise they might stripped.
