Nice pics guys. I have a question though...

How is it that you guys get all the water out of your lips? I washed my GTS' 2 times so far and I dry the lips as best I can. Although every time I go to move the car after they have been washed, water drips out of wheels and I'm hesitant to dry the water that comes out of the wheels in fear of scratching the lips.

Is there any tips or techniques to getting the wheels completely dry?

Thanks in advance.

I mean it appears that way on my wheels too. It's just somehow water is getting trapped inside the wheel under the faces of the wheel i'm guessing. Its a small amount but enough to ruin a freshly washed wheel. I guess it'll just take time.

You gotta dry the inside of the barrel... I have 2 sets of towels... One for the lips.. And another to do the inside of the barrels.. They get puddles in them..

Cool thanks, I guess the GTS' inner barrels hold more water than my LMGT4's. I'll be sure to do this next time.

Take a quick drive around the block to help get them out of the hidden holes, then dry again

Just got mine back from powdercoating. I curbed them last year and couldn't look at them like that anymore. I have a friend Lou who does powder-coating on long island. 100% quality work at a great price. If anyone needs his info PM me.

May sound like alot of trouble but it's not, I use my Homelite Blower to blow most of water out of lug nut, center cap area and barrel, then I take a rag (the one I rinsed out after washing car) and dry the remaining water thats left on lip! Take a dry rag and go behind the spokes all the way around the inside, backside of rim, I normally use a roll seat to ease my back, takes about 3 mins per wheel after blowing! After you do this a few times its a routine and not a big deal. That has worked for me for about 2 yrs now!!!
