I thought 9.5 10.5 +17 +18 was supposed to be the fitment for the 350z without any modification

I don't think they stick our too much, I think it looks like a big difference because of the gap between tire and fender. I think that if you lowered your car like .5" or .75" like mine it will make a large difference because the tires will flow with the wheel well better.
Just my 2 cents without seeing it in person.

I was trying to match this guy's setup. https://my350z.com/forum/7460124-post10.html

I have the same size too. I'm not sure if the fenders are rolled or not.

Rolling fenders wouldn't really affect fender appearance

Not written in stone. I have same sizes as you state. I had 245/35/19 and 275/35/19 Falken Fk 452s. I am dropped 1inch all around. I had to roll rear fenders a bit. Tires had a slight stretch look. I just changed tires to
Hankook ventus V12s 255/35/19 and 285/35/19. I had to go in again and roll a lot more. To me the best looking fitment. Lip and sidewall match up perfect and an overall better flush look

19x10.5+17 fits perfectly on my Z, but I'm on stock height. When I drop, I think I'll run into a little bit of trouble playing with the fitment up front. I don't plan on lowering it too much though, I just really want to eliminate that rear gap

Default Volk gts tire size question

I have a set of volk gts 19" 9.5 +17/ 10.5 +18. I got them used and they have some crappy tires stretched on them. Anyways I am wanting to run toyo r888 on them. Car is not lowered at all. I have done a lot of research and I came across a photo of Nitrouz's 350z Alyssa on the forum and saw he was running 235/35 front and 295/30 in the rear. I've never seen anyone else run that and it seems like the front would be stretched a lot but from the picture it doesn't look like it is stretched very much. Just getting a second opinion before i buy them in those sizes maybe it was a miss type. Thanks in advance if you can confirm!

The front will be stretched (and it looks this way in the link’s pics); while the rear tire is almost “ballooning.” With 295’s on the rear, I would go at least 255 on the front.

I’ve never liked the appearance mixing a stretched tire with a non-stretched tire.

In any case consider lowering your car for a better look. See my post a few posts upward of yours

I guess the toyo r888 don't come in 255 for 19's, would running 265/30 and 295/30 work?

I am missing a few bolts from my volk gts and I came across these, just looking for a second opinion if these would be good replacements. Let me know what you think or if there are better deals out there.

Toyo designates the R888 tire for “Racetrack & Autocross Only.”

I’m surprised that you want to run a track tire on a 19” wheel on the 350z. A better choice for the track or autocross would be a tire for a 17” or 18” wheel. 17” wheels with the appropriate tires are lighter, providing better response and handling.

Appreciate the input and I totally agree only the car is not being built for the track. It is just a weekend summer car only driven in good conditions and I like to run aggressive tires. Better than running some cheap stretched tires for show!

If you are building for recreation and not racing, forget buying Toyo R888’s. You have many and much better choices for “normal driving.”

Hey do guys think 19x9.5 +28 and 19x10.5 +18 would work on my nismo350 with brembos and what size tires for stretch look? I was thinking maybe 235/35 & 255/35 and don't know if I should get coilovers since nismo is a little lower then the rest stock but first I want to make sure that offset will work or even look right.

RTB, with those tire sizes you will definitely have to go with coilovers if you're wanting a flush look. Plus if you're going 235/35 & 255/35 you're going to want more aggressive offsets. Check out rimtuck, you can easily search by wheel width, tire specs, offset, etc.

The think is I already have these rims with those offset I got them on a friendly street race against a 370Z and this is the setup he had on his Z I can change tire size but I would like to put on my Z with out it looking stupid. The tires on them now are too big for my liking ( 285/35 & 245/40)
