alignment needed when switching to wider tires?
Hi all,
My alignment seems fine (~9k miles on stock potenzas/touring 18' wheels and no signs of feathering).
I recently changed to Nismo 18' wheels with 245/40/18 front and 275/40/18 rear tires (changed from the original 225/45/18 front and 245/45/18 rear).
I would hate to have someone mess with my alignment, so I am trying to avoid getting one. Is this recommended? Or do wider tires with same circumference still require a new alignment?
I am thinking that toe-in should not really be affected when switching to wider tires and not changing ride height or suspension?
Any experts out there to help me out? Thanks!
