Default Nismo wheels heating up....

Just wondering if it is normal that after 30-40min more or less normal driving, ok maybe with a little fun.... the nismo wheels get really hot compared to the stock wheels. I think the stock wheels at best felt warm... But the nismo feel hot like I would be touching the brake rotor itself.

Is this normal? I guess they probably conduct heat much better and have much less mass and heat capacity?
Thanks!!

I'd be interested if anyone else out there has the nismo/t1r combo in 245/275, because it seems that this combo makes the wheel incredible hot. Very strange.

At least since I swapped to the PS2 the nismo wheels don't heat up anymore.

Flame me if you like, but that's what I experienced. Very strange.
Maybe I had a set of bad T1r or they were mounted wrong or who knows...

BTW by heated up wheels I mean about the temperature that a black hood gets after a while in the sun when it's 100 degrees out.

the spokes on the nismo wheels are thinner then the OE wheels... so conduct heat more I guess...

i dunno... no matter what wheels I had on my car they got really hot since I would do alot of hard braking... and have to tape my wheel weights...
