Post #465 on the previous page is of my test fit. I rolled my rear fenders and re-installed them all around. Everything else is the same. Once I get my 06 front bumper installed and hood painted I will do a proper shoot.
Lowered on hotchkis springs.

Whoops.. yeah just realized you are the same person
Thanks for the tip. So you recommend getting the same sized spacer for front and rear? I am thinking maybe 15mm spacers unless you can talk me out of it. LOL BTW the car has eibach prokits.

Eibachs are lower than hotchkis. If I had your springs I would go at least 20-20. At my ride height 20-20 is perfectly flush. Lower usually means you've got more neg. camber and can run a larger spacer.
Do what I did. buy 1 pair of 20mm and test fit them on one side at your current ride height and see if you want:
a) bigger in the rear
b) smaller up front
c) same all around

It is about time for some new tires on my car. Is anyone running 255/40/18s and 285/35/18s on their Nismo wheels (8.5 front and 9.5 rear). I would like to go 255/285, but I'm not sure about the proper aspect ratios (35 or 40). I think 285/40/18s wouldn't look right on the rear. Thanks.

Well I don't have pics or personal experience but you are only changing the width 10 and as you already know the sidewall is an aspect ratio.. or percentage. IMO the sidewall on a 285/40 is not going to be much different than on a 275/40.. probably not even noticable.
It's funny though because I was thinking about going with smaller tires to get a better "stance" (IMO). =P

The more I thought about it I realized that the recommended tire sizes for the 19" Nismo wheels are 245/35/19 and 275/35/19. If that is the case why wouldn't 255/35/18 and 285/35/18 work on the 18" wheels? Maybe I answered my own question.

Well with 19's you have a bigger wheel. On the 18's you will have a smaller overall diameter of the wheel/tire and thus can mess up speedometer calibration, also might widen your wheel gap if you're not on coil-overs..

Yes the 19" wheel is bigger, but my car is lower than stock due to my Nismo suspension. Plus I already think that the rear tires on my car look too tall. I think 35s would look better than the 40s do.

Hrmm the more I think about it, the more I am going to try to hunt down pairs of these wheels. I really would like to run 19's in the rear and 18's up front. Basically I'll do anything different if I can find someone who curbed/broke a wheel or two selling a pair for a good deal. If this happens to any of you guys (and I hope it doesn't!).. let me know. =P
