Default needing quick opinion on these 2 tire prices

I've been quoted an out the door price of $805.01 for 4 KDW2's (that's the tires, mount, balance, tax, etc.) and have been quoted $1005.03 for 4 Goodyear GSD3's as the out the door price. I'm leaning towards the Goodyears as they have been my first choice all along, but would it really be $200 well spent. Need some quick opinions on what you would elect to do.

For many years I regularly bought Goodyear tires but starting about 5 or 6 years ago I noticed that I was having all kinds of problems with them. Eventually I weaned all but one of my cars from them and the litany of problems has slowly gone away.

About two months ago, I started looking for new tires for the Z. I was at an autocross when the subject came up and two Corvette owners started telling me horror stories with their Goodyears. Based on what I read and heard from other owners, I narrowed it down to the BFG KDW2 and the Michelin PS2. The PS2s won and I couldn't be happier with them.

Given your two choices and my personal dislike for the Goodyear tires, I'd say go with the BFGs. Without know the sizes, we can't say whether that a good price or not. It would be a great price if it's for 19" tires

Sizes are 245/40/18's front and 255/45/18's rear. Wasn't as much concerned about the prices that were quoted for each tire as I was deciding the best option. Both tires get very good reviews by 350Z owners. My Z is just a daily driver, mainly highway miles, and will not be tracked in anyway. I'm leaning towards the Goodyear's after reading owner's comments, but was really just wondering if the GSD3's were worth the $200 difference.
