I hate this forum!
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Damn more mods$$$
Those 15mm spacers I bought for the stock 18 rears were a waste of money, pretty much. Cuz now I can see that I'm going to have to upgrade to some 19.5's and 10.5's out back, so I can run a 265/30 and 295/30 setup anyway.
I was hoping that if I could at least get it to look a little better with the spacers, that maybe the rim and tire bug wouldn't bite but well.... we know how that bug gets around
I love the way my car looks but I can no longer stand looking at the stock 245 rears anymore
This car deserves much better
Today while doing some spirited driving (SPEEDING!! YES), the little 245's were not cutting it, actually I noticed they weren't cutting it a long time ago but I was trying to tell myself I was imagining it, so I wouldn't get the mod bug. I also love the way the 295's look too but I really need wider tires because the car just does not feel as planted as it should. The car looks like it could corner with any Porsche but due to the poo poo tire setup, it just ain't cuttin' it.
So now I need to find some 19's in a 9.5 and 10.5 that will have the correct offset. I don't care if I have to roll or grind the rear fenders but they must absolutly be tucked in under whatever lip is left on the fender.
I've seen people running 275's on 10.5" Volk GTC's and Axis Hiro's and they all say it clears with no issues but I want to run 295's on those 10.5's like God intended to fit those rims.
I was thinking about just doing the typical 245 and 275 35 setup on 8.5" and 9.5"'s but nahhh. If I'm gonna spend money to upgrade, may as well do it right.
Let the hours of surfing and researching begin
