Default Of these 3, which would you choose?

Its time to put the new wheels one. I narrowed it down to 3 tires.

#1 - TOYO T1-R
#2 - BFG KDW NTII
#3 - NITTO 555

Sizes Front = 245/35/19
Rear = 275/35/19

I never owned either brand. Im looking for some insight, so i can go ahead and make up my mind and place to the order to have them here by next week.

And yes i did a search (thats how i narrowed it down the these 3!!!)

For a few more $$$ (relative to the BFG KWD2's), you might want to consider the Michelin PS2's.

I have to Toyo's also. They look aggressive, handle great in dry weather and rain. I was told, when i was looking for tires, that the BFG's actually are louder than the toyo's. Anyway, who cares, i can't hear the tires over my exhaust.

I have the 555's and have been happy with them. The KDW's are better tires (and more $) so I voted for them.

I like the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3/Michelin Pilot Sport/Kumho ECSTA MX XRP

Covers a modest - middle price range.

I love my BFG kdw nt's. After having Yokohama avs sports and adding a supercharger the BFG's seem to have alot more grip. They also seemed fairly quiet but with the supercharger and exhaust I probably wouldn't be a good judge of noise level.

Originally, I was trying to purchase the goodrich KD summer tire, but my shop (deals) couldn't get them. I went with the toyos and haven't looked back. They look awesome and handle light years better than the stock tires. I didn't notice any car noise either compared to the headers, plenum, intake, 3.9 gear... I didn't even know there was an issue.

Default toyos

The toyos really put a bite into the road. I played with a charger, probably the RT because I crushed them at a stoplight. The 275/40 R 245/40 F tires had minamal slippage, and when I popped into 2nd the tires dug in and it felt like the front was lifting off the road. Holy cow it was cool! The charger wanted to know what I had under the hood at the next light. The final drive gear is new power and it seems like the tires are great for straight line digging. Cornering is great! I give them a thumbs up.

I voted for the BFG's. I don't know this loudness issue. I have had the orginal thread and the new tread and no loudness issues.

Have put about 9000 miles on T 1 rs and think they are fine. I don't notice any road noise and grip is good (though I do not run to the limits).

Just as an aside here but who cares about looks? I want grip, decent ride, & longivity.

As far as longevity goes, I got ~19K miles out of the rear toyo 275/35-19's and just got a new pair put on 3 weeks ago. The fronts are original and still look new
