Default inner tire wear

ok im not no suspension guru so i need some help.

i have a 2003 350z, and i got a flat so i put my doughnut on my front left tire. i noticed while i lifted my car that the inside of my wheels were really worn out. I was told by fixing the camber i would fix this problem because the wheel is actually sitting stock on the inside more than the outsides. What would i need to buy to fix this problem on my car. I'm getting new tires and rims soon so i dont want this problem to keep happenning.

thanks in advance

inner tire wear and feathering are 2 seperate issues. and although nissan did extend the alignment warranty on 03 Z's, all of those Z's should be well past that period. the best thing is to get an alignment and replace your tires with a better wear rating. do a search and you should find tons...

You probably don't need suspension parts to fix the problem. It all depends on what the cause is. If it's purely an alignment issue, get it realigned and get new tires and you'll be okay.

If it's the feathering problem, take it to a dealer ASAP. They will realign and should replace the front tires. Assuming the TSB is still in effect. There was a time limit on getting that done.

Keep in mind that due to the amount of camber in most all sports cars, the tires tend to wear quickly, especially on the inner edges. You didn't mention how much mileage or if it was front/rear tires.

That's definitely not feathering (on the rears). That's probably the normal wear caused by the camber on the rear end. If those are the original tires, the 31K is pretty good mileage. Mine were worn out with about 18K miles on them, including a few dozen autocrosses.
