actually i was looking it up and the MAXIMUM that you can put on a 8.5" rim is 275/40 so it should fit fine, its almost perfect size match to 245/45
Where did you look this up? I know people do it, but I went to nearly every tire manufacturer's website and the largest tire they recommend for an 8.5" wheel is a 255.
