18 inch tires
opinions on new tires. i have some 18 in LMGT4s. tires still have plenty of tread.
I have some nitto extreme on right now.
245/40/18 front and 275/40/18 rear. I am trying to see if there is a better tire out there roughly in that price range. this is just my daily driver. i dont track or drift at all. i would say i drive pretty hard on them though. i know everyone has alot of 19 inch tires but would you go with the same kind for 18s. for 19s i would probably look into getting T1Rs or SO3. should that be the same if i get 18s?

Falken RT-615's are the best street tire available and they are also the cheapest. Just don't drive them in the rain! But you live in So Cal so that should not be a problem.
I have owned these tires, but where I live it rains all the time so when they where gone, I got PS2's. And, Grassroots mag did a road test with all the high end summer performance street tires, the 615's beat all of them, and it cost 1/2 as much as any other tire tested!
