Default Tire Sensor not responding...need advise

I got new wheels put on today and had them transfer the Tire Pressure Sensors. One of the sensors works just fine the other one is not sending a signal.
Anything I can do here or could that one broken during the transfer?

If it's borken I still have two sensors from my first Z, is it possible to get that one working just in case?

It is possible that the one got damaged during removal or installation. Yes, you can use an old one, but it needs to be re-registered to the ECU by a dealer. TPMS is still looking for the ID of the broken one so it needs to be told to look for a new one.

Thomas, what wheels did you swap it with? Was it possible the TPMS got damage during installation? If youbring it by the dealer we can reset the TPMS for you, it only takes a few minutes. If that doesnt work, there is definitely something wrong.

Yeah, I just had mine reprogrammed yesterday. It doesn't take too long, but it sounds like they may have been damaged when they put them on/took them off.

Andy, I got the same wheels, just 18's in the back because I needed wider tires.
It worked when they transfered it from the oem to the recent ones and it workes on one of the new ones. I didn't think they are that sensitive

I come by there next week and bring the other sensors just in case a reset won't do the trick.

shoot, I just came back from Performance Nissan, they recalibrated the sensors and all 4 picked up correctly but when I left the read out on the gauge still does not show the top rear wheel (is top left?)
So the sensor is good but something else is wrong.
Could it be that the receiver somehow got disconnecet when they installed my new brakes?

Anyone have any idea?

Are you trying to say the rear driver's side sensor is not responding?

There is only one receiver that picks up the signals from all four sensors so that's not the problem. The must be something wrong with the one sensor. I don't understand how Performance could have recalibrated them and then one of them not work. Unless there is something wrong with the switch that causes the sensor to come on when driving. The tool they use to calibrate/register the sensors obviously doesn't require the car to be moving so it has some other mechanism to get the sensor to respond.

they didn't charge me anything, it only took a few minutes.

damn, I really don't know what to do to get this fixed.
I still have 2 sensors from my old z that I could put in there and have them calibrate again but I don't know if that would fix it since the current one reacted just fine.

Would it help to maybe to try and have it pointing in a different direction?
