I am soon going to be getting my wheels and just realized that the lugs that come stock on the car LOOK massive and are probably fairly heavy.
anyone know of a site that has lighter and more simple lugs. I have the ALLEN style lugs on my old Honda, which might be the way I go, anyother alternatives (btw, I don't want to run some kind of racing/alloy lug that will break and only work 1x, I need them to be practical, also NO colors either).
ANY IDEAS???

Rays lug nuts are sooo light. I couldn't believe it when I first held them + they look sweet. A package of 20 only weight 1 lb at the most. Rays have colors in red, blue and black and they have locks with them. No colors ???? Pretty boring

You need to first determine what wheel that you are going to need lugnuts for. The Rays lugnuts are incredible. So are kyokugen lugnuts. But they wont fit all wheels. Not even all Rays wheels. (i.e. GT-C) If you can let either Jeremy (Monkey Man), Audra, or myself know, we should be able to help you get the correct lugnut seat type.

1. I need Locks anyway, many of these light wt lugs already have a locking system built in.
2. I don't like the "chrome" look of the stock lugs, maybe a gunmetal, titanium or brushed color would look better
3. Slightly lighter.
imo, If I am going to spen $40-50 on good locks anyways, another $50 for better looks, lighter wt seems to be not such a bad idea.
This is a good thread. The iForged wheels really expose the lugs, and the stock ones really dont look good with the wheels. Can they be uniform in shape, cause each wheel nuts has a different design on mine (or is this a saftey feature). Again, im still a bonehead when it comes to wheels.
RodH,
I am still waiting on a reply from iForged to get the information on the seat type they use on their wheels. I have messaged them. I have emailed them. I have used every contact method I know of to get hold of them. As soon as I can have contact with them I will post what I learn from them.

RodH,
We carry Kyokugen in the 12mm x 1.25 pitch. They are available in black or silver (sort of brushed, not shiny) with both open and closed end designs. If you are racing, you will probably want open end to pass tech. They should also be slightly lighter.
We also carry Moteki which is a newer variation from Japan. I believe they come in the same versions as the Kyokugens, but I will have to double check. I have some images of them somewhere, I will check to see if I can find them. If so, I will post them.
We carry SocketLugs, but they seem to be heavier than the Kyokugens and the Motekis. Open ended. Locks available. Anodized red, anodized blue, and chrome available.
We carry McGard Splinedrives which seem lighter than Socketlugs and are close ended. They have a unique seat that rotates freely and acts as a lock washer. They are all chromed with various colors available as caps (red, blue, and purple), as well as all chrome and all black versions. I will get a pic for these also and post it.
