Default Photoshop help, White spoke challenge

Ok so here is the deal.......
Im chroming the barrels of my challenges do to an unfortunate cleaning accident. I figure since I have the wheels broken down and ive grown tired of the gold..........Id powder coat the spokes in pearl white. I know some will like the idea and others wont but ive never seen it done so.........why not. Any Photoshop people up to giving me a hand?

Thanks in advance.

looks good in white
Why not go with perma star to save weight on the chroming, just something to consider http://www.goodrichtechnology.com/

Why not have the centers painted and cleared in PPW
I had my old Maya's powder coated before I sold them but if still had them and deceided to change color's again it would be easier to deal with a painted center then a powder coated center... IMOP

I like that-but make it a pearl white and not a regular white! Only downside is cleaning every other mile of driving.

That was my thought too white would not really look right it does need to be pearl. As far as the cleaning, the only thing ive got going is I dont really drive the Z all that much......its my weekend toy.

Ive got two vendors to do this project for me, one to chrome another to powder coat. As far as the weight issue, well a 19 in challenge is not that light to begin with so id buy a second set of wheels if I really wanted something that much lighter. My guess is its going to take at least a month if not two.

Off hand anyone know what you torque the wheels to when putting back together?.......I would assume no more than 15lbs but im not sure.

I don't reccomend disassembling and reassembling the wheel on your own. I am sure there are very strict tolerances to patterns and torque specs, the last thing you need is a wheel coming apart at 70+ MPH.

It actually would not be the first time. I spent many years as a discount tire manager and have worked on a wheel or two in my day (ok way more than two). I will contact a guy I know at Mackin just to make sure ive got it right........im honestly not worried. Its not something I would recomend to a first timer by any means.
