NOTE: the Professors are only made with the standard casting method, not SSR's technology they use the for the lighter wheels (SSF) This makes them very heavy. According to Luke at Tirerack, the 18x9's are over 30lbs.

I hated to hear this as well.....I was sold on that RIM and now I have to find something else.

the sf-challenge looks nice.

Gram light 57 because they look to have a bit thicker spokes compared to the sf challenge.

Default Where to find sf-challenge

Anyone know where to find the sf-challenge wheels, either on the internet or in the California Bay area.

Thanks,

Has anyone gotten a price list on the 57f-pro's yet? I'm very interested in those wheels.

One more question. I noticed alot of wheels are comming in 9.5" and 10.5". Does 10.5" fit on the Z (rear of course)? I think that would look sweet, but only if it fit.

These don't !!! Work Meister S1. Sizes in 18 and 19 inch . Work has a multi piece version of the SSR wheel (professor) that is pictured above. The Work version 18 x 9.5 weights 22 lbs. Here is a pic of the Work S1 2 pc rim.

I checked on the Volk Challenge and the mold has been retired by Volk. You can still get them, but it takes about 3 to 4 months to get them. The best price I found for them is $2300.
