First of all I don’t really know what to put this under because it has to do with both suspension and appearance.

I have been doing some reading and I understand that some strut bars don’t fit underneath some hoods aftermarket hoods. Well what I have is a 5/16 motordyne spacer which I know for the most part has no clearance issues with most all strut bars. The real question is will a Cusco or JIC strut bar clear the Seibon TS hood and allow it to close without damaging the hood? I figured I would ask all of you because I really don’t want to buy something that doesn't fit.

I have the 5/16th spacer with the factory strut bar, with a TS hood. Guess that's not really answering your question, but I do what I can lol.

 

Yeah stock fits great! LOL! I was just looking for some sort of an upgrade to add some looks.

 

Cusco will give more clearance than the stock one (my stock brace hit my TS hood without a spacer, the Cusco clears without touching at all). JIC should be similar but its been since forever since we've sold one

I have the 5/16 spacer and running the ARC Strut Bar and now spacer needed for the bar so stock hood no problem....

 

Will the Crawford STB fit under this hood as well?

not sure about other strut bar but I have the ARC on mine so i know it will clear for sure..

 

So many different clearence issues it makes me sick!

 

Does anyone know if the Crawford plenum will fit under the TS hood?

 

Well finally got around to putting on my TS hood, but its hitting my plenum with my 5/16 spacer. (I removed strut bar)

Not looking forward to cutting it. Does the APS tall boy sit lower? Or should I raise the back of the hood?
