Default Work XD9 on a CS Z :-D ***PICS***

Im not lowered yet. I need to find a nice place to install my springs!
The shop told me since my rear sticks out below the fender a little i wont pass inspection :-D Oh well. Ill worry about that in September of 09 lol. I included some weird angles to show how flush it is w/ the fender and the camber on the bottom.
I almost spun out while leaving cause the tires were slick. I didnt think they'd be THAT slick. I gave the normal amount of throttle i normally give lol.

The tires are
Kuhmo ASX 245/40/18F 275/40/18R On Work XD9

Thanks Z1 in New york!

mommy is checkin out the dubs in one of the pics haha. She says hi Z losers.

PLUG: My stock 17s are for sale! I've gotten several PMs but no bites! PM me.

Stick w/ the ones u have. the 40 series gives too much buldge. However, they rid better than stock...ALOT better. The tires are mad quiet lol.
Next time i get tires, im going w/ 255/35 and 285/35

However, im also lacking a drop, which makes the big profile even worse.

Bro, the bronze looks good!!! Post some more pics if you can. BTW, I've got a CS and some matte silver metal XD9's. I guess I should get off my lazy *** and order my tires; I've had my wheels for a couple weeks already. I am thinking of maybe getting the Falken 452's - 245/40 & 275/40.

Like i said, you should get 35 series :-D

If you got the lowest offset though, it will probably rub. I sit 100% flush on the fender in the rear. You'd need about 1/2 degree of camber to be flush if you're lowered

if they rub, just roll the fenders. I doubt your fronts will rub but the rears will probably if you're lowered more than an inch and in factory specs for alignment

when i used the good old finger measure trick, i was able to fit 4 fat fingers. If you're lowered by 1.2' and using a 35 series tire, which should be slightly less than 40 profile, then you MIGHT be fine, but definatley within specs to have it rolled and be perfeclty fine. Good looks!

Anyone know the best way to get rid of the 4 X 4 look? Im looking into just lowering springs. Im sure that wont do it... The tires/wheels are flush w/ the top fender so i know its possible..

Ibasically want it to look like ^ that, but with about an inch more clearance front and 1/2 more in the rear

A full coilover suspension will allow you to drop your car lower than with just springs alone. this will adequately remove the "4x4" look.

That looks sick. Did you weigh them? Also what offset did you get? Just lower it 1" and it will look perfect.

Yeah i did weigh them. I used a bathroom scale but they both came to 21 lbs ish. The tires weren't bad either. They were at 26 lbs. The stock setup weighs about 20lbs more i think
