275/40/18 or 275/35/18 which looks better
My 06' Z is lowered on Tanabe GF210s and I have 18" Ruff Racing 278s that just arrived. I am trying to decide what size tires to buy for the rear. I'm concerned the 275/35 may look a little small(diameter) compared to the 245/40 I intend to run on the front. Any input from those with experience would be appreciated.

275/35 will match up better size wise with the 245/40s, but I still like the thicker rear with the 275/40s...

I dont think you can run 245/40 and 275/35 setup w/o TCS becoming an issue.

Same here. I love this size.
My site is almost always down but if it's up, I have some pics here:

It's tough to see on a black though. I don't have that large of a gap...the pics make it look strange. You can save those to your PC and then lighten them to get a better look.

Masterj - any trouble with the tcs? according to what I am reading 285/35 is 3.12% smaller than stock which has the potential to cause a problem.

I've never heard of them...but I don't get out much.
I've been using Nitto 555's and for the price I think they're quite good. How much are the Sumitomos?
