Yo all_bark! I ain't? Oh, but I am.

Since I really don't think you were looking for a skirmish I'll simply "post the proof" for any and all that want the edumakashun. Instead of doling out the bdiddy smack-talk. (I'm sleepy and feeling forgiving)

It's a little "crunched", but I'm sure you'll get the jist. The first comparisons are the rears.

Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revolutions Difference
245/45-18 4.3 in 13.3 in 26.7 in 83.8 in 756 / mile
285/30-20 3.4 in 13.4 in 26.7 in 84.0 in 754 / mile 0.2%

Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revolutions Difference
225/45-18 4.0 in 13.0 in 26.0 in 81.6 in 777 / mile
245/35-19 3.4 in 12.9 in 25.8 in 80.9 in 783 / mile -0.8%

Ahhhh...what's two tenths of an inch between friends?

A question you may want to ask of Ray....

Good night.

Thanks for the kind words... My HRE 445's are a polished lip with a brushed finish. I went to the HRE factory and I can tell you all finishes look great. Prior to the visit, i was thinking I would go gunmetal or if i really went over budget, all polished. I love them both when i saw them but when i looked at the brushed finished, I was 100% convinced they were right for me. They look much like polished but a little more understated and more "hand machined" looking.

I've been there a couple of times. They're in Vista, so depending on where you live in SD anywhere from 20 to 40 minutes. That is of course, as long as there isn't anything going on at Del Mar fairgrounds...then it's an hour regardless

Default here is address/directions

The HRE factory is at 2453 Cades Way, Building A, Vista Ca. 92083. Phone (760) 598-1960. Use Yahoo.com maps or equal to get directions and driving time. If you want a tour, contact Renee, she will give you a tour. Hopefully, you can meet Bob Hale, he does all the fitting on offsets etc...

Default Expensive!

I picked them up from the factory and had them mounted by a local tire shop (chucks tire). HRE's are very expensive. We did a group buy thru avalon on this website. Cost was about $3600 for 18" 9 wide fts and 10.5 rears with brush finish. You can get them a lot cheaper if you want to go with gunmetal rather than brush or polish. Service and quality of wheels are fantastic. Pictures do not capture the quality of these wheels. I looked at them all, HRE is the top of the line but you got to be willing to put out some major cash!
