Toyo T1R vs Goodyear F1 GS-D3
Hi guys!!!
Going to 19´s with 255/35/19 and 275/35/19 tires, just don´t know what brand to get!! Heard a lot of good users reviews about Toyo´s T1R and good magazine reviews about the goodyear, just don´t know what will be better, any help please??
Toyo are cheaper and better looking but what really matters is performance!

I've got my 350 riding on GS-D3's and I certainly wouldn't complain. I've had had GSD's on other high performance cars I've owned as well, keep going back. They are pretty quiet tyre for an aggressive directional, they very handle well in the rain, cornering and grip, even in torrential rain, you can see a nice dry train behind you. Equally good in the dry, extremely sticky when hot on a long drive. The sidewall isn't as stiff as the factory recommended RE040's for our 350's, so you do get a tiny bit of roll, but very marginal and corner pretty fast, but they perform far better better than an RE040. I've never had any troubles with defects in any GSD's I've purchased.
In the Zed clubs I belong to in New Zealand, a lot of us are either riding on GSD's or Toyo's and the crew rate the Toyo's extremely highly as well.
Hope that helps.

I've got the T1 Rs & I'm happy but from everything I'm seen the GSD3s are the best rubber around. The only reason I went with the Toyos was because the GSD3s did not come in stock size.
Not knockin the Toyos now. Good tire.

F1 not good in the rain?
After reading a lot of reviews, the F1 even seems to better in rain than the toyo's. It will all come down to personal experience, but I don't think you can go wrong with either T1R or GSD3.

It is possible that the sizing that is available in USA is different to Kiwiland, considering I couldn't get the Toyo's in the factory size here. Different market, different cars.
I have the official Eagle sizing/details sheet that one of the tyre dealers gave to me only 2 weeks ago.
