After some research I seem to like the look of the 03-05 Z with 15mm front and 20mm rear spacers. I have yet to see any 2006 with spacers. My question is, with the 2006 stock rear wheel of the Z being wider than the 03-05, what spacer should I get to achieve the same look as the 03-05? Should I get a smaller one or does the offset make the 06=03-05 wheels in terms of distance to fender?

I just installed H&R Trak spacers last week, along with Tein S Tech springs, which lowered it about 3/4". I still have stock rims/tires. I used 20mm in front and 25mm in back. My Z now has an aggressive stance. Here are some pictures:

No rub at all, even after I lowered it. I took it for a spirited drive this weekend along several routes with tight curves and no rubbing in front. However, I did install an after-market sway bars (Progress Tech) which kept my Z tight and prevented rolls & dips when hitting the curves. There were a couple of slight dips in front when I hit a couple of curves hard but tires still did not rub. I just need to set the front bars to tight (instead of medium) to eliminate the dips.

I did my research on the spacers that are in the market and H&R Trak spacers were the ones that stood out. They are made in Germany and used by most European high-performance cars. I ordered them from Performance Nissan and it took a couple of weeks because they were shipped from Germany. The guy who installed it for me (I had my springs & sway bars installed also at a local garage) was impressed with the quality of the spacers. He races bikes/cars and he knows a few things about after-market products and by far, these H&R spacers were the best he has seen.
NOTE: Just make sure you use the longer studs that comes with the spacers.

I did not see these actual spacers because Performance Nissan shipped the spacers directly to the shop. I think (anyone can correctly me if I'm mistaken) the bolts are separate and they have to be threaded thru the wheel hubs, then thru the spacers, and then the wheels. They're hub-centric, whatever that means.

I am trying to achieve exactly the same stance as z-u-later's Z(post #4 and #5)...
I will have those same wheels also...
QUESTION: He has an 06 and i have an 05. Will using the same HR spacers (20mm/25mm) yeild the same results(stance)??? I only ask this because i have read on this forum that some years differ from others in respect to wheel geometry.
Also, will the Tein S-techs provide about the same drop on my 05 enthusiast as on the 06??
Thanks in advance..

It's amazing how much this topic keeps coming up.
Yes, the spacers are a one-piece unit. They have holes for the existing studs that you thread nuts on. They have new built-in studs that you put your wheel on using your normal wheel lugs.
They should not break. You shouldn't have to adjust camber for them. They make the Z look better. 20-25mm on an '06 will bring the wheels out flush, like they should have been from the factory.

I wasn't replying to you, just making some general comments in the vein of the original post.
I'm not sure about the stock offset on your '05 wheels, assuming that's what you have. I know 20-25mm on the anniversary model wheels ('05.5 and up) works very well.
I do not believe there is a suspension difference between the 05 and 06, but again, depending on the wheels and offsets you're running, you may experience different results from someone running different wheels.
on a non-related note, yes, you can "see" the spacers- they are the grey thing between your wheel and the rotor.. they're pretty obvious (assuming your wheels are stock).
