Default colored tires?

i saw a bike today at the local gym and the guy was getting on i noticed his tires were brite orange, I asked, hey dude did you paint your tires? with an A-hole remark he says "NO!, im not cheap like others!" So then I tell him they looked cool since his bike was also orange! and I asked him, does it change the color of the smoke when you burn out and he says again with a
A-hole "WELL Yeah!" i ended the convo after that since I was getting pissed all i was doing was admiring his bike! anywhooot! I was driving home and I was like "I should ask my trust Z freinds since they are so smart" (well some of yeah! which im one of the dumb ones) what are these things guys and why colored tires do they serve any purpose or its all looks?
I get intel on certain stuff for work and I have seen the new michilin tires that are airless anyone seen this?

Top Gear had a car (I think TVR) with colored tires and they were doing burnouts and the color was not white. I think red or blue, whatever the tire was.

Remember the tires that glowed in the dark? The treads had colored lines. If you were behind the car at night you could see the treads glow. I wonder what ever happened to those tires?

Kumho has an ecsta mx tire that burns red smoke... its on the enjuku racing s13, but cant be used in the Formula D circuit since the tires are not yet for sale to the public...

the BFG Scortchers raised some problems with local law enforcment because they thought people were useing them to mark gang territory with colors...

i have seen colord rubber on bikes, not on the roads yet for cars though...

Kumho makes their tires available to a select number of drivers for exhibition, but they aren't available for sale and the drivers must return the tires to Kumho.
