Hey all,

I just got new tires put on my 18" Kazera KZ-A's. Just wanted to confirm what tire pressure I should use since the car came with the 17's and the sticker inside the console lists 35psi for the 17" wheels -- wasn't sure if this applies to my new wheels as well.

Front:
Kazera KZ-A 18x8.5
Bridgestone Potenza RE050 Pole Position 245x40

Rear:
Kazera KZ-A 18x9
Bridgestone Potenza RE050 Pole Position 275x40

I usually fill up to 36-37 just to deal with high-speed/highway driving, but when I took the car in for an alignment yesterday at a Nissan dealership I got the car back with 40psi all around. Figured I'd ask you all Z owners before holding my breath on a call back from the dealership.

 

In case this helps... they are:

93Y - front
99Y - rear

Were you able to normal-mount the TPS monitors for those wheels, or did you have to use the band-method (discussed on this forum)?

 

Thanks. And actually even tho I have an auto. touring, it came with the 17" OEM wheels so there was no TPS. So I didn't have to worry about it with these either.
