wow. how come you didnt want to run wider tires on a 11" ?

 

At first, I thought about getting a 285/305 or 295 all around. But, I changed my mind because I was aiming for camber specs between 2 and 3 degrees. After alignment, my camber specs were set to ~2.4*; NO rubbing, no stretching, and no traction issues. Also, for the track, I have a used set of Hoosier that are 285/30/18 and 295/30/18.

I might gradually go up in size if necessary in the future. But, for now I don't think I need wider tires as long as the tire compound is good. Also, I hate running lots of negative camber since I DD the Z.

Anybody know what type of black paint (flat/satin/etc..) was used on the lip/barrel of the GTS Phantoms? Just wanted to do some temporary touch-up on some areas of the lip/barrel before I get them refinished in a few months.

Thanks Broskie... I like to give credit where its due and your Z is probably one of my faves on here. Once the HKS Supercharger goes in and I pick up the Work Equips.. my Z will finally be finished.

 

What do you guys use on the polished lip to keep them so shiney etc. Ive got GTS's 9.5/10.5

The GTS lip is anodized NOT polished (unless you stripped the anodized finish and polished them).
