Put your center caps on after they mount the tires. Otherwise they'll have to remove them to put the wheel+tire in the balancing machine.
My personal preference was to press the centercaps into the wheels after the tires are on, but before putting them on the car. That way I would apply downward pressure on them which made it easy to do by hand.
haha i was going to say the same thing about the downward pressure instead of sideways but i thought it would be done and no one would agree with me
