MRR-GT1 19'' Wheels - Experience/Opinions?
Does anyone have any experience or opinions of these wheels. Obviously, I would love to get some Volks but I just cant seem to wrap my mind around spending $3600.00 for wheels and tires. I like the style (and price!) of these. Looking at the 19x8.5 & 19x9.5 gloss black w/ polished lip.
Can i even run this set up?
F - 19x8.5 +35 offset ( i think this is the incorrect offset)
R - 19x9.5 +35 offset (i believe this offset is ok)
Oh, and what tire size should i go with for these?
Would like to hear some opinions on durability of these... Will they bend or crack 6 mo. after I get them? I guess weight wise, they arent too bad. (Was told they weigh around 28lbs. I was told the stock 18's on my 06 Enthusiast weigh around 25lbs. each)
I spent $1200.00 last time i bought some wheels (Nakayama 18'' X-7 I think they were) and they lasted over 5 years with no problems until one day, the air was really low on one of my tires and drove over those turtle things in the road and finally cracked it.
Would love to hear experiences/opinions on them.
thanks in advance

MRR Wheel Fitment
Hello,
Thank you for your interest in MRR Wheels. We are Need4Speed Motorsports Inc. We are MRR Wheel's largest dealer. The 19x8.5/19x9.5 35mm offset will fit on the 350Z, however if you are looking for the "flush" look with your fenders or to have enough room to clear your Brembo brake calipers, you would need the 20mm front and 25mm rear. The 20x8.5/20x10 setup is perfect for the 350Z, they offer a 2.5" front and 4.25" lip rear. If you have any other fitment issues or questions on tire sizes, please feel free to call us 1-888 714-7467. Thank you.

I have a wheel/tire guide that says MRR are of the highest quality cast construction there is. The company has been around many years making oem wheels. Now they're into the aftermarket and producing a high quality proguct. The guide says they use the same quality process as 5zigen, work and maya. Too lazy to get up to get the book but I believe it's called tilt die casting. That's impressive company. Based on this information, I'm planning to buy a set set my GS300. So I'd say Go for it!

MRR Wheel Quality
MRR wheels are produced by Merit Alloy, which does also produce wheels for high end wheel companies such as Work and 5Zigen just to name a few. They has have the TUV stamp of approval. The TUV stamp is the European standard when it comes to wheels, which happens to be one of the highest in the world. Since they have no limit highways (Autobahn) in some European countries, which can exceed speeds of 200 mph, what ever product that gets the TUV stamp has be extremely high quality to handle those kind of speeds and conditions. If you are looking for a nice set of wheels, not to mention the high quality, MRR Wheels is one of the best you can get for your money.
