Default Baby's got brand new shoes!

Been waffling on what tires/rims to get (after all, I only have 14,689 miles on her!) and finally, thanks to Todd over at Discount Tire, I made the leap today. Privat Fahren 18/8 front and 18/9 rear. Nitto 245/40ZR front and 275/40ZR back. The fronts are 5lbs lighter and the rears are 3lbs lighter each than the stock 17"s and these are huge!
Not a good pic as I wanted to highlight the rims and so I lit them w/two seperate strobes and got a funky color mismatch, but I was in a hurry to get something posted and only had time for a couple of shots. The Eibach Prokit gives 0.8" front and 1.2" rear drop and I think I will be done w/the outside for awhile so as to concentrate on some performance plans. Regards, Jim

I like the rims but a lot but how about a pic that doesnt look fake, and I wasnt aware that the rims came in a 9" all I have seen is a 8.5. Do you plan on running spacers? The 40 offset they come in will look kinda funky.

Wheels look okay... but take off the Eibach kit. Lowered like that, it looks like @$$.

Just my opinion. Nothing personal. With wheels and rims, the car would look so much better if it didn't look like the body was resting on the wheels.

DTM Kreuz

These are good-looking five-spoke wheels if you ask me- $550-$650, 23-25 lbs. for 18"s and 19"s--

Hey Jim. Lets see the real deal.

I want to see that before (driveway) shot you showed me with a real after shot.

He is correct, they are 18x8 & 18x9. Privat sent these to us for use in a photoshoot with Jims car, and he wanted to keep them!

The 40 offset actually worked really well and they certainly fill up the fenders much better. I'd like to see some other offsets when we get the rest of our stock in the next month or so.

See you at the car show tonite!

Default Real deal!

Okay, Todd, ya got me. That's what I get for trying to hurry things, huh? Here's a couple I got today, but I want to get to a good locale and spend the day shooting and the place I have in mind is near Prescott so I will have to wait until next week to do that shoot. Regards, Jim

Not real pleased with the compression Fotki is applying, but I will work around that next week. Regards, Jim
