So I have a bit of road rash on my rims (they were used) and wondering how much it would cost per rim to machine them out? Anyone have this done? How good of a job is it? do you lose any rim integrity? (I'm guessing not, but doesn't hurt asking) and most importantly.. What's the average price you guys have been seeing?

The road rash is a total eyesore to me and would love to get them fixed.. thanks guys!

I did do a search on this question, but the first page only talked about rims that were already machined.. not cost and the actual experience.. any help would be appreciated!

do you have any pics ? that way we can see how severe the damage is? what kind of wheels are they?

 

You can sand it down, fill it in with bondo, prime the area, and paint. There's an article out there about a guy that did it to porsche wheels.
