I'd suggest a set of 5Zigen FN01RC's in 17x9 or 17x10. Inexpensive and fairly light. my 17x9's are about 19lbs i think. With my road race hoosiers the combo weighs in at 42 lbs!

My drag wheels are from a z32TT that I run with 16x26x11.5 MT ET Streets.

I'm interested in getting some cheap, light 17s for some DR's for the drag strip. Do you have any other suggestions? I really like the g games 57C / 57F but I'm starting to think they might be a little too pricey...

the 5zigens are nice too... keep em coming?

The 5zigens are $199-218 depending on size and finish and only $9 to ship.
How much are the g games?

Been waiting 2 days for a certain vendor to PM me back. After 1 day of waiting, he asked me what my budget is. I told him, still no response

You're selling the BFG's? 15's are probably the best set up for ultimate grip however you'll probably never be able to upgrade your rear brakes if that's a concern for you. Welds or bogart wheels would probably work in 8 or 10 inches wide. Not sure if anyone makes a 9.5 wide in 15 inch though.

right now im not really worrying about the brakes in back. im looking in summit and im thinkin about going with the Weld Pro Star wheel...they got that in 15x8 and 15x10 .i think the 15x10 may be a little too wide, cuz i would need like a 315 tire or so and i dont think i will fit that especially with the eibachs...so what do u think about a 15x8 wheel with a 275/50-15 BFG DR tire...wide enough or should i go with something different...your opinion??

I think either a 15x8 or 15x10 should work. I know guys have used the 15x8's successfully but not sure if anyone has tried the 10's. Might want to do some searching in the drag racing forum or ask the question there to be sure.

my 26x11.5's (close in diameter and width to your tire) work great on my 16x8.5 inch z32 wheels.

The 17's should work fine, but you'll get more sidewall flex during the launch on 15's. Are you looking for a drag radial? I've really liked my MT et street bias plies but have heard good things about the MT et street radials also.

I know the BFG's have pretty good bite-the set i had wore out pretty quickly though. I think the MT radials may be the best out there but I have no idea what kind of mileage you can expect from them. My bias ply's have lasted much longer than I had expected and still have lots of life in them. I don't drive on the street very often with them but I have many passes down the 1/4 with them and I even bought them used.

I think most people would recommend the MT ET street bias ply or radial. I don't recall anyone ever praising the BFG over the Mickey Thompsons. They're both stickier than the Nitto but Nitto will most likely give you the most mileage. I'd say stick with the MT's-can't go wrong there.
