Default what was your second set for rear tires?

My rear tires out of tread, I have "no-mod" touring '04 convertible. I need some traction for rainy winter in N_CA. I heard Michelin Pilot have problems with middle bolding. Any ideas? What should I buy?

Thumbs up

The Yokohama AVS ES100's look like they might be a good tire in the rain. And they don't seem to be very expensive either.

I just got a set of Dunlop Direzza off of Direct Tire, why?? Because they where cheap and not bad for the price. Not top of the line, but if I'm going to be eating through rear tires, why even bother.

Hey gmanwith350z, I'd recommend Eagle F1 GS-D3's!! Awesome tyre, reasonably priced (well at least in NZ) and real sticky in the dry and handle extremely well in the wet.

lamaz, will be interested to see what you think of the Direzza's. Two of my friends have Direzza's on their 350's. One of them is just about to take his Direzza's off his 350 as he's been unimpressed with the lack of traction. Apparently if you give it a bit, they tend to step out. The other guy isn't far away from changing his Direzza's either for the same reason. I think they are both going with the GS-D3's.
